Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in Cleveland, Ohio. You'll deliver care to stable to moderate-acuity patients on telemetry units, with potential to float to related units and the emergency department to care for the same patient population. Some shifts may include patients on mechanical ventilation.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts: Days (07:00–19:30) or Nights (19:00–07:30)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
• You must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Contract duration: 13 weeks

Requirements

• License: Current permanent Ohio or compact state nursing license (in hand at submission)
• Experience: Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Certifications (active and in hand):
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS

During Orientation

You will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment. Both must be passed; you have a maximum of 2 attempts.

Compliance

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Background check and drug screen required
