About the Unit

You'll work in a Level 3 NICU providing direct patient care to neonates requiring intermediate to high-acuity support. The unit maintains a 3–4 patient-to-RN ratio and is staffed primarily by RNs with clerical support. The nursing team is known for being friendly, outgoing, and compassionate—qualities that define the unit's culture.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years Level 3 NICU experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Unit Culture & Expectations

• Navy scrubs required; no nail polish or artificial nails
• Collaborative, supportive environment with experienced staff
• Strong emphasis on quality patient care and safety

What You'll Do

Deliver bedside nursing care to critically ill and convalescing neonates, including monitoring vital signs, managing equipment, supporting feeding and thermoregulation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

This is a straightforward 13-week contract ideal for experienced NICU nurses seeking night shift work in a stable, supportive setting.
