NICU RN – Level 3/4
Assignment Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work a day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with no on-call requirements.
About the Unit
This is a Level 3/4 NICU providing care to critically ill and moderately ill newborns requiring specialized nursing intervention. The unit manages patients across a range of acuities, from respiratory support to post-surgical care. You'll typically care for 3–4 patients per shift in a collaborative environment staffed primarily by RNs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required
- Current BLS certification and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Active RN license in Texas

Prior travel nursing experience is preferred. Ideal candidates are compassionate, friendly, and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented settings.
Unit Details
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs; no nail polish or artificial nails
- You'll work with modern monitoring and infusion equipment
