Labor and Delivery RN – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with rotating weekends and no call requirements.
About the Unit
Required Qualifications
- RN license (current and unrestricted)
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Intermediate fetal monitoring (EFM) competency
- SVE competency
- C-section circulation experience
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Previous experience in high-volume labor and delivery units
- Prior HCA assignment or facility employment
Expectations
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only (t-shirts not acceptable)
- Full adherence to unit attendance and clinical policies
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care throughout the labor and delivery continuum, assist with cesarean sections, monitor high-risk pregnancies, and support families during delivery.
