Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse
Position Details

About the Role
The facility's PACU team cares for patients in the immediate post-operative period, monitoring recovery from anesthesia and managing pain, nausea, and vital stability. You'll assess patients frequently, communicate with surgeons and anesthesia providers, and prepare patients for discharge to inpatient units or home.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Kentucky)
- ACLS certification required
- PACU experience preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
What to Expect
You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a supportive nursing team. Responsibilities include post-operative monitoring, pain and symptom management, patient education, and documentation. The role offers a structured day shift with no call or weekend requirements during this contract.
