Ortho/Spine RN — Medical/Surgical | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week night shift contract places you on a dedicated orthopedic and spine unit caring for post-surgical patients recovering from procedures including knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries. The unit sees a moderate-to-high volume of orthopedic cases and requires strong foundational ortho nursing skills.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (48-hour guarantee accepted)
• 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Float rotation required

Clinical Scope

• Post-operative orthopedic and spine patient population
• Procedures: total knee/hip arthroplasty, multi-level spinal surgery
• Equipment used includes SCDs, CPMs, walkers, and cooling units
• Support staff includes unit secretaries, PCTs, and a Navigator

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Strong orthopedic nursing background required
• Demonstrated compassion and teamwork
