Medical-Surgical RN | Night Shift | Nashville, TN
This 13-week contract is a night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) position on a Medical-Surgical unit in Nashville, TN, with a start date of November 9, 2026.
Unit Overview
The Med-Surg unit provides general acute care with a focus on strong clinical assessment and attentive patient monitoring. Support staff includes patient care technicians on both shifts. The unit utilizes remote telemetry and virtual monitoring technology, with float requirements primarily between Med-Surg units on a PRN basis.
Schedule & Commitment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday)
- Weekday scheduling is flexible
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Experience with IV pumps and medication dispensing equipment
- Proficiency with IV and Foley catheter placement
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- CPI certification preferred

- Commitment to hourly rounding protocols
- Adherence to patient experience best practices
