RN – Free Standing Emergency Department

Position Overview

Join the emergency department for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a fast-paced acute care setting.

About the Unit

The facility operates a free standing emergency department providing acute emergency care. You'll work in a lean, responsive team environment managing a diverse patient population presenting with acute medical and surgical conditions. The unit performs IV starts, 12-lead EKGs, and comprehensive patient assessments.

The Role

As a night shift RN, you'll provide direct patient care, collaborate with your charge nurse and fellow clinicians, and maintain the quality and safety standards expected in emergency medicine. You'll be part of a small, dedicated team where communication and teamwork are essential.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license (state specific)
• Experience in emergency medicine or free standing emergency department (FSED) strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Professional demeanor, inclusive approach, and strong team orientation

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, nights only
• No weekend rotation required
• No call requirements
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Target start: December 3, 2025

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs required.
