Travel Telemetry Nurse – Decatur, GA
Position Overview
Join the emergency department as a Telemetry Nurse in a fast-paced, dynamic care environment. You'll manage ED border patients within your specialty, providing monitoring and acute care in a supportive team setting.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 16-week contract
- Start date: November 30, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telemetry monitoring and care for ED border patients
- Float within specialty as needed between nearby facilities (primary location: Decatur area; 15-mile floating radius)
- Know your assignment location before each shift
- Work collaboratively with the ED team
Requirements
- Current RN licensure (Georgia)
- Telemetry certification or equivalent experience
- All time off must be requested upfront
- Non-local travelers only (50+ mile radius from assignment area)
- Flexibility to float within specialty as patient census demands
