Emergency Department RN — Utica, NY
Day Shift | 13-Week Contract
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN with a strong ED background and demonstrated travel experience. This is a full-spectrum emergency department caring for patients across the full age continuum — newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
Shift & Schedule
- 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 4x12 days
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- 48 guaranteed hours weekly
Clinical Scope
Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Nurses are expected to provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) responsibilities. Floating is required.

Required Certifications
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience, including some pediatric experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- Active NY RN license
