Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a surgical center. You'll support a diverse surgical schedule including orthopedic, plastic, general, colorectal, and gynecological procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- 8-hour days, Monday–Friday
- 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- 32 guaranteed hours per week
- 82-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification required
- Ability to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday
What You'll Do
Support surgical teams across multiple specialties in a fast-paced operating room environment. Responsibilities include instrument management, patient positioning, sponge and needle counts, and coordination with surgeons and anesthesia.
About the Role
This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekend requirements. The schedule provides predictable days and work-life balance while maintaining a full surgical case load.
