Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Burlington, MA

This 26-week contract places an experienced RN in a high-acuity Emergency Department managing a broad range of trauma and medical emergency patients. The department is a full-service, fast-paced environment with dedicated fast-track, behavioral health, and imaging capabilities.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 2 holiday shifts required
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Emergency Department experience — strictly enforced
• Current or very recent experience required
• High-acuity trauma background required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• TNCC required
• PALS or ENPC (or equivalent) required

Clinical Scope

You will independently patients presenting with traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies, applying rapid clinical assessment and prioritization skills in a high-volume, high-acuity environment. The role demands strong decision-making under pressure and comfort managing complex, undifferentiated presentations.
