Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced CTICU nurse for a 26-week contract. You'll provide specialized care to post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, as well as those with severe cardiac and respiratory conditions requiring intensive monitoring and advanced interventions.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)
• 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
• Weekly orientation

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience
• At least 2 years in CT/CVICU
• Current BLS-AHA and ACLS certifications
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must be separated from previous employer for 6+ months

Clinical Details

You'll work in a high-acuity environment managing complex post-surgical patients, hemodynamically unstable cases, and those requiring advanced respiratory support. No float required. Any color scrubs acceptable.

What We're Looking For

A clinically competent, detail-oriented nurse comfortable with rapid assessment and skilled interventions in a fast-paced ICU setting. Experience with critical care protocols and strong communication skills are essential.
