Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) – RN
Position Overview
Join the cardiothoracic intensive care unit, a specialized high-acuity environment providing 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries, as well as those managing severe cardiac and respiratory conditions.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
- Hours: 36 hours per week; 72 hours guaranteed biweekly
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- Location: Burlington, MA
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular intensive care
- Current ACLS and BLS-AHA certifications
- Travel nursing experience required
- Must have been separated from previous employer for 6+ months
- No local candidates
- Weekly orientation provided
What You'll Do
Deliver direct patient care in a specialized cardiac surgery recovery and critical care environment. You'll manage post-operative monitoring, assess complex hemodynamic and respiratory conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
