Night Shift PCU/Medical-Telemetry Nurse

Shift & Schedule

Night 3×12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

13-week contract

Start date: November 30, 2026

Every other weekend required

Maximum 7 days off between assignments

About the Unit

Required Qualifications

• PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years (mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• New York state license in hand
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Core Competencies

MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-MI care, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, central line care, PICC/port access, tracheostomy management, high-flow nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BiPAP), ABG interpretation, chest tube care, wound care/wound vac, cardiac drip management, blood products, heparin protocols, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions.

Preferred

PALS, TCAR certification

Unit Details

• Float requirement: Yes (may rotate to sister units)
• Any solid-color scrubs
• 12-hour orientation
