PCU / Step-Down RN — Night Shift | Cartersville, GA

Contract: 12 weeks | Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour (19:00–07:30) | Start Date: December 7, 2026

Unit Overview

Clinical Skills Required

Candidates should be proficient in:

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote), dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips; IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Central line, PICC, and port access and management
• BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula management
• Tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and surgical drain care
• Pre/post cardiac cath and angiogram care; post-MI management
• Stroke/CVA care, traumatic brain injury, and pre/post neurosurgery patients
• Wound care/wound vac, PCA management, and blood product administration

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Scheduling & Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• No schedule requests can be accommodated post-offer
• Holiday work expected per facility policy
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted

Licensure: Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission

Compliance: All onboarding documents due the Tuesday prior to start date.
