Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Schedule: Every other weekend
About the Role
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations across all acuity levels
- Perform standard ED procedures and assessments
- Float to other units as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff in a structured team environment
- Document care using the facility's electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
Preferred
- Experience with the facility's documentation system
Dress Code
- Royal blue scrubs
- Closed-toe, slip-resistant, non-absorbent shoes
- Clean, neat hair; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Tattoos covered when possible
- Visible piercings (ears only)
- Clean, natural nails only
No call requirements.
