MRI Technologist – Travel Assignment
Position Details

- Shift: Day, 4×10 hours (9:00 AM–7:30 PM)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating on-call coverage (7:30 PM–7:00 AM) and holiday coverage
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of MRI technologist experience
- Minimum 18 months of permanent MRI technologist experience prior to travel
- Active Ohio license (Compact licenses accepted for starts January 1, 2023 forward)
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director from assignments within the past 12 months (peer references are not accepted)
Vaccinations
COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical and religious exemptions only).
What to Know
You'll work in the facility's MRI department, performing diagnostic imaging and supporting patient care in a clinical environment. The role includes rotating on-call responsibilities and holiday coverage as part of the assignment.
Pre-start assessments in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety will be completed during orientation; passing both is required. Background screening and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
Extensions up to 18 months are possible; a 6-month break follows unless the facility approves an exception.
