Burn Trauma ICU — Registered Nurse | Nights | Plano, TX

This 13-week travel contract places you in a fast-paced Burn Trauma ICU managing high-acuity patients requiring specialized burn, trauma, and surgical critical care. The unit cares for complex ICU and step-down level patients, and demands strong clinical instincts and a collaborative mindset.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 2 weekends required per pay period

Clinical Scope

• Burn, trauma, and surgical ICU patient population
• Procedures include wound care, code response, external ventricular drains (EVDs), and massive transfusion protocols (MTP)
• High-acuity critical care environment

Float Requirements

• May float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU units as needed

Required Skills & Credentials

• Active RN license
• Trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience — required; candidates without this background will not be considered
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• CCRN certification
