Operating Room Nurse – Neurosurgery & Robotics

Position Overview

The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced OR nurse with robust neurosurgery expertise. This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule & Details

• Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (4 x 10)
• Location: Overland Park, KS
• Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
• No floating required

Clinical Scope

You'll work in a busy surgical environment performing a wide range of procedures including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery (total knees, hips, complex revisions), robotic-assisted cases (colorectal, bariatric, general, gynecology, urology), and general surgery. The unit operates 13 ORs and supports a robust robotics program with advanced surgical technology.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (CNOR preferred)
• Proven inpatient OR experience
• Solid neurosurgery experience required
• Proficiency with electronic medical records documentation
