Emergency Department RN — Asheville, NC

This is a 13-week travel contract in a fast-paced Emergency Department located in Asheville, North Carolina, with a start date of December 13, 2026.

Shift Details

  • Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Assignment Overview

This ED serves a broad regional patient population across a high-acuity, high-volume emergency setting. Clinicians can expect exposure to a diverse mix of medical and surgical emergencies, with the department supporting comprehensive stroke care, cardiac emergencies, pediatric cases, and complex trauma presentations.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Active RN license (or compact license) valid in North Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • TNCC or ENPC preferred
  • Comfort managing rapid patient throughput and high-acuity cases across all age groups
  • Strong critical thinking skills in an autonomous, fast-paced environment
