Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Position Overview

The facility's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join the cardiology team. You'll work under the direction of the Chief Radiologic Technologist, performing hemodynamic monitoring, imaging operations, and patient preparation for invasive cardiac procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour days, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Evening and weekend call for emergency procedures
• No set day off

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
• Conduct imaging and ambulatory monitoring operations
• Maintain quality control standards and optimize diagnostic imaging
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and request service as needed
• Complete patient billing documentation
• Calibrate and maintain film processor equipment daily
• Prepare cardiac patients for invasive procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Cath Lab experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips
• Pass tele competency exam on day 1 with 85% or better
• MA RT License
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification
• Interventional radiology experience

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: December 7, 2026
