Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking an experienced RN to join a dynamic team caring for high-acuity patients. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment managing complex medical conditions, post-operative patients, and those requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12 shifts over 3 weeks (rotating schedule)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care/ICU
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- NIHSS and CCRN certifications preferred
What You'll Do
Deliver skilled nursing care to critically ill patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, medication administration, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills are essential.
