Occupational Therapist – Acute Care
Position Overview
The facility's Acute Care OT department is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support patients across the hospital. You'll respond to physician orders and provide therapy to a diverse patient population with varied medical and surgical diagnoses.
Clinical Scope
You'll work with:
- ICU patients
- Stroke and neurological cases
- Orthopedic patients
- General debility
Schedule & Duration
- 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday with weekend rotation
- 13-week contract
- 40 guaranteed weekly hours
- Weekend work required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience in acute care
- Georgia OT licensure
- Current BLS certification
Holiday Expectations
You must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day, plus 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
