Registered Nurse – Leadership Role
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated patient care and supervise nursing staff in an acute care setting. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes while exercising independent judgment and critical thinking.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care according to established nursing standards
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff activities
- Analyze patient data to identify care needs and adjust interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and treatment plans
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate team responsibilities
- Foster a safe, healing environment for patients
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
