Registered Nurse – Birthing Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Birthing Unit. You'll provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods, working as part of a clinical team dedicated to maternal and neonatal wellness.
Shift & Schedule
- Three 12-hour shifts per week: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Circulating experience in the operating room or birthing suite is essential
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Recent EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification at intermediate level or higher
Preferred Certifications
- Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO)
- Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing – Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing)
- First Latch (Breastfeeding Certification)
