Neuro/Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Jackson, TN | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN position is on a Neuro/Surgical Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with neurological and surgical diagnoses, including CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and pre/post-neurosurgical cases.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 3x12-hour shifts
• Three weekend shifts per four-week schedule
• No on-call required
• Float possible to other MS/Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Orientation: 36 hours

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS — all must be in hand at submission
• Active Tennessee or compact RN license required at submission

Experience & Clinical Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Clinical skills include: central line and PICC management, chest tube care, heparin and insulin protocols, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, wound vac, PCA management, procedural sedation monitoring, and pre/post hemodialysis care
• Charting system experience required; competency exam must be passed on-site (one attempt only)

Vaccines

• COVID-19: Required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Flu: Required (no exemptions)

• All requested time off must be disclosed at submission; no additional RTO will be approved
• Two supervisory references required at submission
