Travel Telemetry Nurse — Atlanta, GA
This telemetry unit is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. Shifts run 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week).
Clinical Scope
The unit manages patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, with a focus on recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythm and neurological status. Skills utilized regularly include IV insertion and PICC line management.
Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
- Active Georgia RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- NIHSS certification required
- BLS required
- IV insertion and PICC line proficiency
- Electronic health records experience required
