Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Centennial, CO

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

This opportunity is in a recently converted hospital-based emergency department in Centennial, CO. The transition from a freestanding ED has significantly expanded available resources, including on-site respiratory therapy, house supervision, med/surg and ICU support, full laboratory services, and comprehensive imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound, echocardiography, and X-ray).

Unit Overview

The ED operates across all shifts with a small, cohesive nursing team known for strong teamwork and a positive culture. The unit sees varied acuity with ratios that adjust accordingly.

Typical Procedures

• IV insertion, EKG monitoring, Foley catheterization
• Splinting, wound infiltration, and wound care
• Medication administration and patient assessments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC/CPI Blue Card — all required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care hospital ED setting
• Familiarity with hospital-based EMR systems
