Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages. You'll assess physical, cognitive, and emotional needs; teach therapeutic activities; recommend assistive devices; and adapt environments to promote independence and well-being.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Days, 8 hours (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- On-Call/Weekends: None
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
- Valid Texas or compact license (required documentation)
Caseload & Productivity
You will proactively build and manage your caseload using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities while meeting the facility's productivity expectations. Guaranteed hours apply when you remain onsite and available, but the facility cannot provide sufficient patient volume to meet those hours. You are expected to make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete treatment sessions when clinically appropriate and consistent with the patient's plan of care, tolerance, and availability. Communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership.
