Registered Dietician – Outpatient Hematology Oncology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Dietician to join its outpatient hematology oncology program. You'll provide comprehensive nutrition support to pediatric patients undergoing cancer treatment and managing complex hematologic conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- 8-hour days, Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends
- 40 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract
Clinical Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for pediatric oncology and hematology patients
- Manage TPN (total parenteral nutrition) and EN (enteral nutrition) support
- Provide medical nutrition therapy aligned with treatment protocols
- Collaborate with oncology and hematology teams on patient care plans
- Monitor nutritional status and adjust interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Georgia state licensure as a Registered Dietician
- Current CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) credential
- Pediatric nutrition experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency with TPN, EN, and medical nutrition therapy
Facility Requirements
- Tobacco-free facility; drug screening required
- Flu vaccine required (no exceptions)
