Cath Lab Technician
Position Overview
The facility's Catheterization Lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week contract. You'll support complex cardiac interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour AM shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 3 days per week (36 hours guaranteed)
- No weekends
- On-call required
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
- Proficiency in moderate sedation
- Hands-on experience with IABP intra-procedure, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella devices
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Must pass telemetry competency test on Day 1 (85% or higher)
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical Care or trauma background
- Interventional Radiology experience
- Additional procedural expertise
What You'll Do
Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Manage patient monitoring, device setup, and procedural support while maintaining a calm, collaborative environment with the clinical team.
