Surgical Technologist – Multi-Specialty OR
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist with demonstrated expertise across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, and vascular procedures. This is a contract role for clinicians with a broad current skill set and proven proficiency in complex cases.
Schedule & Call
- 36–40 hours per week
- Flexible shift structure: three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts (start and end times negotiable)
- On-call: approximately every 5th weekend, plus 1–2 calls per week
- 30-minute response time required
- Holiday call rotation possible based on census and staffing needs
- Call volume may increase depending on departmental staffing changes
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- BLS certification required
- CST preferred (not required)
- Strong critical thinking, central processing knowledge, and instrumentation expertise essential
- Minimal RTO preferred
