Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Atlanta, GA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract | 36 Hours Guaranteed Weekly

This rapid admission unit focuses on general medical and post-surgical patients awaiting procedures. The pace is brisk — patient turnover moves faster than a traditional med/surg floor — making this a great fit for nurses who thrive in a dynamic, high-throughput environment. Strong independent decision-making and clear communication skills are essential.

Shift Details

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Mandatory holiday coverage: Thanksgiving Day or the day after; plus Christmas Eve/Christmas Day OR New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist, professional references, and current certification cards
• Nursys license verification
• Badge-appropriate photo included in candidate profile
