Inpatient Pharmacist — Travel Contract
Dallas, TX | 13-Week Contract
This inpatient pharmacy role is an excellent fit for a pharmacist who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and stays engaged when the pace stays busy.
Schedule
- 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday through Tuesday
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Unit Overview
You'll work in an active inpatient pharmacy supporting a high-census acute care hospital, with daily census consistently in the 500–600 range. The pharmacy team supports medical-surgical and oncology patient populations, requiring accuracy and efficiency in a demanding clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license
- Sterile IV compounding certification (required; candidates without this will not be considered)
- Experience in medical-surgical and oncology settings
- Experience with sterile IV compounding workflow software (DoseEdge preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated dispensing cabinet systems
- Prior inpatient pharmacy experience in a high-volume acute care setting
