Travel RN – Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit. You'll provide direct patient care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, interventional cardiology cases, and critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks
- Start Date: December 8, 2026
What You'll Do
- Monitor hemodynamically unstable patients on telemetry and mechanical support devices
- Manage post-operative cardiac surgery recovery and complications
- Titrate vasoactive medications and manage advanced cardiac life support
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Perform patient and family education in a high-acuity environment
Requirements
- Current RN license (Texas)
- ACLS certification required
- Strong critical care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
- Commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork

One position available. This is a travel assignment with a defined contract period. Interested candidates should be prepared for the demands of cardiac critical care and ready to integrate quickly into an established team.
