Labor and Delivery RN
Location: Weatherford, TX
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
What You'll Do
- Manage labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Provide immediate newborn care, including golden hour practices
- Circulate C-sections in the operating room
- Perform post-operative recovery care following cesarean delivery
- Document care using the facility's electronic health record system
- Work every other weekend (no call requirements)
- No floating to other units
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS, NRP, and WHONN certifications
- Ability to circulate cesarean sections
- Immediate newborn care and post-anesthesia recovery experience
Preferred
- Ability to scrub cesarean sections
- Prior experience with the facility's documentation system
Dress Code
Scrubs provided by the facility. Hair neat and clean; facial hair clean and trimmed. Tattoos should be covered when possible. No visible piercings except earlobes. Nails must be clean and healthy.
