Operating Room – Orthopedic & Trauma

Position Overview

The facility's operating room is seeking experienced perioperative nurses and surgical technologists for its orthopedic and trauma service line. This is a day shift role with high-acuity surgical cases and a collaborative team environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• On-Call: 4–6 calls per month, plus holiday coverage as needed
• Weekends: Weekend shifts required

Required Qualifications

*Registered Nurses (RN):*

• PeriOp 101 completion required
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic and trauma surgery

*Certified Surgical Technologists (CST):*

• Current certification required
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic and trauma surgery

Clinical Scope

You'll participate in a variety of orthopedic and trauma procedures in a 10-OR operating suite. This role offers exposure to complex surgical cases and the opportunity to work with a dedicated perioperative team committed to excellence in patient care.

Floating

You may be asked to float to related surgical units as needed.

Dress Code

Scrubs per facility guidelines.
