Night Shift Nurse – Medical/Surgical Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift position on a medical/surgical unit. This is a 13-week contract role offering 48 guaranteed hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4 days per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: None required
Clinical Environment
You'll provide care on a medical/surgical unit, supporting patients across a range of acute conditions and post-operative recovery. You may be asked to float to similar units on the same campus or at other locations within Wichita to meet patient census needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required at submission)
- ACLS certification required during onboarding
- Willingness to complete standard onboarding requirements, including skills validation, EKG competency, and health screening
What to Expect
- Scrubs: Ceil blue
- Standard hospital onboarding procedures apply, including background check, vaccinations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza), TB screening, and drug screen
- EHR: Facility charting system training provided
