Respiratory Therapist – Critical Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for its critical care units on a 13-week contract beginning November 30, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (NOC)
- Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Weekends: 2 weekends per month (every-weekend option available)
- Call: None
- Holiday Coverage: Required for all dates between November 22, 2026 – January 5, 2027 (no time off during this period)
- Early clock-in encouraged (no earlier than 6:38 PM)
Clinical Environment
You'll support multiple high-acuity intensive care units, including a NICU and Burn Unit. This is a fast-paced setting requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a demanding patient load with integrity and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Current Mississippi RCP License
- RRT or CRT credential
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Minimum 3 years acute care hospital experience
- Willingness to work all holidays during the contract period
