ICU Nursing – 13-Week Contract
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call responsibilities
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Location: Wichita, KS
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in the facility's ICU, managing high-acuity patients and supporting the clinical team during night shifts. This is a straightforward assignment with predictable scheduling and no on-call expectations.
Required Credentials
- Current RN license (must be verifiable via Nursys)
- Professional references and employment verification
- Driver's license/State ID
Required Competencies & Testing
You'll complete competency assessments including specialty exams, EKG certification, skills validation, and EHR system training before beginning patient care. All onboarding requirements and health screenings will be provided by the facility.
What to Expect
Standard immunizations and health requirements apply. You'll receive orientation to the facility's systems and unit-specific protocols. This is a temporary assignment with a defined end date.
