Shift: 4 x 12-hour days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Unit Overview
This medical/surgical/respiratory unit operates as a private-room environment caring for a diverse patient population across general medical, surgical, and respiratory diagnoses. Nurses on this unit manage moderate- to high-acuity patients, applying strong respiratory assessment skills alongside standard med/surg clinical competencies.
Schedule Expectations
- Four 12-hour day shifts per week
- Every other weekend required

- Active RN license (verified through Nursys)

Onboarding Requirements
- Core competencies and EKG exam
- Color vision screening
- POC glucose testing competency
- Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza
- TB testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot)
- Fit test, health statement
- 11-panel drug screen and criminal background check
Ideal Candidate
- Comfortable managing a mixed medical, surgical, and respiratory caseload
- Previous med/surg or pulmonary/respiratory nursing experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
