Medical-Surgical/Renal Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical/Renal Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shifts (36 guaranteed hours per week) on a med-surg/renal unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team
- Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision
- Assess patients' discharge planning needs and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Work independently with critical thinking and sound judgment in a high-stress setting
Requirements
- Current RN license (verified through Nursys)
- Ability to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision
- Professional scrubs in navy or maroon
