Cardiac Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Aiken, SC
This 13-week contract places you on a cardiac med/surg unit working three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
The Role
You'll provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and med/surg patients across the lifespan, including initial and ongoing assessments, admission evaluations, and continuous monitoring. The unit requires strong clinical judgment, accurate documentation, and the ability to interpret patient data and adapt care plans accordingly.
Certifications & Qualifications Required
- Active RN license in South Carolina
- BLS and ACLS — required
- NIHSS — required
- CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training) — required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Minimum 2 years RN experience — required
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience — required
- BSN — highly desired

- Shift: Nights, 3 × 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
