Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a labor and delivery unit. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed hours.
About the Role
You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients and supervise assigned nursing staff while collaborating across disciplines. You'll apply critical thinking and professional judgment in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress toward clinical outcomes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing team members
- Educate patients and families on health topics and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and support team learning
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 or 48 hours per week, flexible scheduling available)
