Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Position Overview

The facility seeks a Physical Therapist to join its inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients across the care continuum, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary clinical team.

Schedule & Location

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• Every other weekend availability (typically one weekend per month)
• Holiday coverage as needed (one holiday per year)
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed clinical assessments and comprehensive evaluations based on physician referral and individual patient needs
• Develop and implement age-appropriate plans of care
• Accurately document patient treatment and progress
• Adapt to evolving work assignments and patient acuity
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Physical Therapist License (state licensure required)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience
• BLS Certification
• Crisis Prevention Training (TEAM) – must be completed within 6 months of hire
• Primary source online verification of credentials

Preferred

• First Aid Certification

This is a hands-on clinical role ideal for a PT committed to inpatient rehab practice and team-based care delivery.
