Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract
The Opportunity
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for its medical-surgical unit. You'll provide care to patients with acute medical conditions including alcohol abuse, COPD, diabetes, CHF, sepsis, and ia. This is a hands-on role with strong clinical autonomy and the chance to develop or enhance your charge skills.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care using telemetry monitoring
- Administer antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood products, diuretics, and cardiac medications
- Float to other units as needed
- Charge capability is highly preferred
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM); every other major holiday required
- No block scheduling
What We Need
- Minimum 1–2 years of med-surg/telemetry experience in an acute care setting
- Current AHA BLS (required at submission)
- AHA ACLS preferred
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Flu vaccine required during season
- Willing to work with a preceptor for two shifts during orientation
The Details
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Location: Cambridge, MA
- Orientation: Hospital orientation plus two precepted shifts on the unit
- Scrubs: Any color
