Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract | Maryville, TN

Shift: Mid (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | Five 8-hour shifts per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 30, 2026

Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology / General Rad Tech

This radiology position supports evening coverage, including surgical imaging in the OR. Candidates must have demonstrated surgery/OR experience to be considered for this role. The department serves a broad patient population spanning pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Clinical Scope & Procedures:

• Routine and trauma radiography (chest, spine, extremities, pelvis, skull, facial bones)
• Portable and bedside procedures including ICU and ED imaging
• Fluoroscopy studies: upper GI series, barium swallow/esophagus, barium enema (single and air contrast), myelography, arthrography
• C-arm procedures and OR/surgical support
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• PACS image management and radiation safety protocols

Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatric outpatients

Weekend Coverage: Required

Float: May be required to other qualified units based on census needs

Required Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Surgery/OR imaging experience required
• 1 year of electronic medical records experience required

Orientation: Scheduled on Mondays; pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials (up to 16 hours are reimbursable).
