Echocardiography Technologist

EEG Technologist – Travel Contract | Eureka, CA

13-Week Contract | Day Shift | Start Date: November 30, 2026

This is a great opportunity for an experienced EEG Technologist to join a neurodiagnostics team serving a diverse patient population that includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit sees a daily census of 3–4 studies with approximately 4 visits per day.

Shift Details

• Days, 5×8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• 16-hour orientation

Clinical Scope

Candidates should be proficient in a broad range of neurodiagnostic procedures, including:

• Ambulatory EEG and routine EEG
• Sleep EEG and sleep-deprived EEG
• Long-term monitoring / video monitoring
• Auditory, motor, visual, and somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP)
• Portable recording
• ECI brain death studies
• Electrode placement and electromyographic equipment operation and calibration

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of EEG Tech experience
• BLS certification required
• Valid compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Scheduling & Float

• Holiday commitment required: must work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Travelers may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
