Occupational Therapist – Outpatient & Inpatient Rehab
Location: Napa, CA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility seeks an Occupational Therapist to support a dynamic acute care outpatient practice with occasional inpatient rehab coverage. You'll work primarily in the outpatient setting serving a diverse patient population across the lifespan—from pediatrics to geriatrics—with a daily census of 10–12 patients.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Primary: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
- Weekend Coverage: Rotating Sunday shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) as scheduled
- You must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted upfront during your application
Clinical Scope
You'll provide OT across neurology, orthopedics/hand therapy, and pediatric cases. Expected competencies include:
- Activities of daily living and adaptive equipment assessment (adult & pediatric)
- Hand injury, splinting, and tendon repair management
- CVA and spinal cord injury rehabilitation
- Cognitive and sensory integrative assessment
- Wheelchair evaluation and positioning
- Patient/family education and discharge planning
You'll collaborate with Physical Therapy and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year OT experience
- Valid state compact license (required at submission)
- Current BLS certification
- Two professional references covering the last 3 years
- Willingness to float to nearby facilities as needed
